Typically pale to light green in color with a soft, creamy, and easily spreadable texture, avocado butter is deeply nourishing. It’s excellent for moisturizing dry and mature skin, conditioning hair, and providing a boost of vitamins and antioxidants.
Color: Typically a pale green to light yellowish-green. This natural hue comes directly from the avocado fruit it’s derived from.
Texture: Soft, smooth, and creamy. It’s often described as having a velvety or rich consistency that melts easily on contact with skin.
Aroma: Very mild, faint, and sometimes described as slightly nutty or herbaceous. It’s generally considered to be a low-odor butter, making it excellent for blending with essential oils or fragrances.
Melting Point: Relatively low, allowing it to soften and become more spreadable at body temperature. This contributes to its luxurious feel as it melts effortlessly into the skin.
Absorbency: Absorbs well into the skin without leaving a heavy, greasy residue, thanks to its unique fatty acid profile.It provides deep moisture without feeling overly occlusive.
Form at Room Temperature: A soft solid, similar to a firm balm. It holds its shape but is easily scoopable and spreadable.
